In Greek mythology, Lyra represents the lyre of Orpheus. Made by Hermes from a tortoise shell, given to Apollo as a bargain, it was said to be the first lyre ever produced. Orpheus's music was said to be so great that even inanimate objects such as trees, streams, and rocks could be charmed. Unique Celluloid Acetate has been used in making of this beautiful vintage looking fountain pen that has modern features to it.


The pens in this series are designed to give an unique blend of vintage and modern characteristics. The celluloid and colour of the acetate gives the vintage look to the pen while the dimensions are towards the modern liking.
